All prices are for shipping within New Zealand. Currently we only ship within New Zealand.

All standard items are standard as regards freight except items marked Bulky 1, Bulky 2, Bulky 3, Bulky 4, Bulky 5, Bulky 6 and Bulky 7 where those specific charges apply.

For customers requiring delivery to outer islands (Chatham Island, Stewart Island, Kawau Island, Waiheke Island, Matakana Island, Great Barrier Island and D'Urville Island) We reserve the right to add a surcharge to the freight cost. We will contact you prior to dispatch for your approval.

 

Delivery Method

Online orders are delivered using PBT couriers and require a signature upon delivery so they can be tracked.

We only deliver to residential or business addresses. PO Boxes are not accepted for security reasons.

Please ensure you have your order delivered to an address where someone is available to sign for it. If you were unavailable to sign for an item when our courier called, we will leave a Card to Call (usually found in the letterbox) at the delivery address. This card details when the delivery was attempted, the number and what you need to do to have the items re-delivered.

 

What are my options for re-delivery of the item?

You can choose from one of the following options:

- Collection at a nearby PBT depot
- Re-direction to another address (for example you could have it delivered to your work during the day)
- Re-delivery to the original address (good if you know you will be available at the address to sign for delivery)

To avoid any inconvenience please consider the options of re-direction to another address where you will be available to sign for the item or collection from a nearby PBT depot.

Please note: We will not attempt to deliver again until we have heard from you.

If you decide that you would like PBT to attempt re-delivery again but are happy for them to leave the parcel at the address if you are not present then please ring PBT to arrange re-delivery and then fill out the "agreement to leave freight (parcel)" section on the card to call and leave it in the letterbox.

We appreciate that you want to shop with confidence, knowing if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you can return it.

 
Goods purchased in-store may be returned within 14 working days, or within 30 working days for online purchases (excluding original freight charge), for an exchange, credit note or refund:

 
Items can be returned, provided:
i. Valid proof of purchase
ii. Goods are unused and in original condition.
iii. With packaging intact, labels and tickets attached.

 
Due to hygiene reasons, we have limitations surrounding exchanging and returns of products such as pillows, duvet inners, underlays, mattresses, toppers, protectors, comforters and other bedding and personal items.

 
Applies to Full-price, Sale and Clearance stock only. Seconds items cannot be returned.

This policy applies to all purchases made instore or online from Bed Bath & Beyond Ltd (BBB).

 
Exchange, credit note or refund - Any outstanding balance from an exchange or refund will be processed onto the same tender type used for the original purchase. The physical or digital card used to pay for the original purchase must be presented to verify a refund. Any outstanding balance will remain on a credit note and will not expire.

 
Valid proof of purchase includes; Original Customer Copy register receipt (printed from the store till at the time of purchase), bbb&me emailed receipt, online order invoice/packing slip, or a bank statement showing store/date/time/total transaction amount.

 
If a product is faulty, we will fulfil our obligations under the Consumer Guarantee’s Act to repair, replace or refund the product. BBB reserve the right to replace the faulty/damaged product for an exchange with an undamaged product in the first instance.

  
BBB reserves the right to decline to process a return if these conditions are not met, for example if the goods have been visibly used and are no longer in original condition.

There is no better feeling than fresh clean sheets on the bed. Here are some tips to keep your bed sheets beautiful.

 

• Always wash sheets using instructions on the care label separately from towels or clothing. This means more room in the machine for the water to move through the fabric and prevents damage from zippers or other fasteners. It also reduces the chances of pilling.

 

• Gently ball up sheets and place them into the machine avoiding wrapping the sheets around the agitator. This prevents damage to your lovely sheets and the machine from becoming unbalanced.

 

• Classic white sheets are a popular choice but keeping them white can be a challenge. Bleach can often yellow whites leaving them patchy and grubby looking. Lemon juice is a natural laundry whitener and freshener. Add 1 cup to your washing machine water along with your usual detergent. Add your sheets and wash as usual. Only use lemon juice on whites as it can bleach some colours.

 

• Dry sheets immediately after they are washed either on the line or on a low heat setting in the dryer. If using a dryer, remove your sheets as soon as they are dry to avoid wrinkles. Over drying can damage fibres and shorten the lifetime of your sheets.

 

• Wash sheets weekly. We recommend each bed has 3 sets of sheets, one for the bed, one in the wash, and one in the cupboard. Store folded sheet sets inside one of the pillowcases to keep sets together and for beautifully tidy shelves.

Settling On The Right Bed Sheets

 

What does thread count mean when talking about sheets and is it important?

Thread count refers to the number of threads woven into a square inch of fabric. Generally speaking if you like a crisp feeling sheet go for 180 to 200TC, if you prefer softness 250-400TC and anything over that is pure luxury.

Natural or synthetic?

• 100% cotton is the most popular choice for sheets given its reputation for softness, comfort and durability. Being a natural fibre, cotton breathes allowing moisture to be absorbed away from the body. Perfect for all seasons but especially for warmer temperatures.

 

• Bamboo is most often blended with cotton to create a beautifully soft, smooth bed sheet that has all the natural fibre qualities as well as anti-bacterial benefits and increased durability.

 

 

• Poly cotton blends offer some of the cotton benefits and combines them with the no fuss, easy care and wrinkle resistant qualities that polyester provides. Poly cotton is quick drying and has a crisp clean feel.

 

• Microfibre is a very soft synthetic fibre and is a great affordable option. It is lightweight, wrinkle resistant, quick drying and more pill resistant than standard polyester fibres.

 

 

Different Weaves For Bed Sheets And Linens

 

What’s the difference between bed sheet weaves?

 

Percale
A percale weave creates a lightweight, crisp feel with a matt finish. Percale weaves are noticeable tighter than standard sheets and therefore are stronger and wash well.

 

Sateen vs Flat weave
Flat weave is the standard weave for sheets and offers a classic crisp, fresh finish. For those who prefer a silkier, luxurious feel with a subtle lustre definitely sateen weave is for you.

 

Flannelette
Flannelette is 100% Cotton with one side brushed or napped to create a fluffy texture that then trap air retaining heat making them perfect for colder months. Flannelette quality is not measured in a thread count but rather in grams per square metre. The heavier the weight the better quality the sheets will be.

 

Microflannel
Microflannel with its extra fine brushed surface is super soft, wrinkle resistant. It’s made of polyester which makes it more resistant to pilling and generally more durable than fabrics made of larger fibres.
