» Orders and Delivery

An order made via this site ("order”) is an offer to purchase one or more products. When we receive a valid order from you, we will accept this offer by confirming via email, on the next working day, that we have received and are processing the order. We will deliver the products set out in your order ("products”) almost anywhere in New Zealand. We do not deliver outside New Zealand; however, an overseas order may still be placed with a New Zealand delivery address.

Goods will be shipped via courier. Once payment has been received and processed, goods will be shipped.

Please allow 5-7 business days, although this timeframe is an estimate only. If we are not able to supply the products or there is likely to be a significant delay in making the delivery (e.g. because the product is out of stock or the delivery is to a rural/remote location), we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible after we become aware of this, in which case you may cancel the order (or any part of it) and you will receive a refund (including the applicable delivery charges) in respect of those products which will not be delivered (if any).  We will not otherwise be liable to you for the damages, costs or expenses of any kind, suffered or incurred by you due to the order not being fulfilled or the products not being delivered within the anticipated delivery time.

All prices are for shipping within New Zealand.  Currently we only ship within New Zealand & Australia.  
All standard items are standard as regards freight except items marked Bulky 1, Bulky 2 or Bulky 3 where those specific charges apply.
For customers requiring delivery to Australia or outer islands (Chatham Island, Stewart Island, Kawau Island, Waiheke Island, Matakana Island, Great Barrier Island and d'Urville Island) We reserve the right to add a surcharge to the freight cost. We will contact you prior to dispatch for your approval.

Delivery Method

Online orders are delivered using couriers and require a signature upon delivery so they can be tracked. 
We only deliver to residential or business addresses - PO Boxes are not accepted for security reasons. 
Please ensure you have your order delivered to an address where someone is available to sign for it. If you were unavailable to sign for an item when our courier called, we will leave a Card to Call (usually found in the letterbox) at the delivery address. This card details when the delivery was attempted, the number and what you need to do to have the items re-delivered. To organise re-delivery please call the number on the card 0800 865 547

What are my options for re-delivery of the item?

You can choose from one of the following options:

Collection at a nearby Toll depot
Re-direction to another address (for example you could have it delivered to your work during the day)
Re-delivery to the original address (good if you know you will be available at the address to sign for delivery)

To avoid any inconvenience please consider the options of re-direction to another address where you will be available to sign for the item or collection from a nearby Toll depot.

Please note: We will not attempt to deliver again until we have heard from you.

If you decide that you would like Toll to attempt re-delivery again but are happy for them to leave the parcel at the address if you are not present then please ring Toll to arrange re-delivery and then fill out the "agreement to leave freight (parcel)" section on the card to call and leave it in the letterbox.
» Returns

We appreciate that you want to shop with the confidence of knowing that if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you can return the product. 

We will refund or exchange any item you are not completely happy with when you return it to us in a saleable condition within 14 days of the item being dispatched from our distribution center (excluding original freight charge).  Please return the item in its original condition, unused, in its original packaging, with product tags and any other security devices still attached.  Bed, Bath and Beyond reserves the right to decline to issue a refund if the item is not returned to them in the original condition.  This policy applies to all purchases made online from Bed Bath & Beyond.  To return an item please either:

·         Visit your nearest Bed, Bath and Beyond store, along with acceptable proof of purchase                        (see section below), 



·         Send the item back to the following address, along with acceptable proof of purchase:






Please note that Bed, Bath and Beyond are not responsible for any returned item that is misplaced before it reaches our distribution centre. Bed, Bath and Beyond will not be responsible for any costs incurred in returning the item.


Please note: Our Bed, Bath and Beyond stores are currently unable to refund directly onto a customer’s credit card, so any refund generated by returning an item to a store will be in the form of a cheque being sent from head office. The cheque will be sent to your postal address within 5 working days of the return being made. 

All return items sent back to our distribution centre will be refunded in the form of a credit being applied to the same credit card that the purchase was initially made with.

Due to hygiene reasons unfortunately we are unable to exchange or refund Duvet Inners or Pillows. Please choose carefully.

» Proof of Purchase

Please note that all returns, refunds, exchanges or repair requests must be accompanied by one of the following Proof of Purchase documents:

·         Original register receipt (no photocopies accepted)

·         Original Invoice - for items purchased online (no photocopies accepted)

·         Original return/exchange receipt (no photocopies accepted)

» Exchanging Product

If you are unhappy with something that you have purchased , and wish to exchange it for another item, then this can be easily achieved by returning the item (along with acceptable proof of purchase) to one of our stores within 14 days of the purchase date.  The returned product must be in the original, saleable condition.

If you are unable to visit a store then you can return the unwanted item to us using the process given in the "RETURNS” section and then order the replacement product through our website.  Please note that the return process and the new order process are separate so you will see each of these processes shown as a separate transaction on your credit card.

» Faulty Product

We stand by the quality of our products and services and will immediately rectify the situation if you receive any faulty or damaged product.

To return faulty/damaged items please either:

  • ·Visit your nearest store, along with acceptable proof of purchase (see section below), or
  • ·Call us on toll-free0800 002676 and we will advise you on how best to return the items to us.

Bed, Bath and Beyond reserve the right to replace the faulty/damaged product with an undamaged product in the first instance.

Secure Shopping

Bed Bath & Beyond is conscious of the need for privacy and security for your internet shopping experience. Credit card payments are secured using sophisticated encryption technology. This ensures all credit card details you send to us via the internet will be encrypted. This means at the checkout, our servers and your PC encrypt (scramble) everything that you enter into your computer, such as credit card details, billing and delivery address. If any other user intercepts the communication, they will only be able to view the encrypted form. This makes it impossible to be intercepted by an unauthorised party as long as your browser supports the use of encrypted data transmissions.


We only email you if you want us to. We do not send unsolicited emails. When you register your email address with us, if you choose to, you go on a list to receive our email announcements about products, offers and promotions from us.

Delivery charges

The anticipated delivery charges (if applicable) will be notified to you when you complete the order, although in some cases the actual delivery charges may be higher (e.g. if the products are large/heavy or delivery is to a rural/remote location). We will notify you if the actual delivery charges are higher than those anticipated, in which case you may cancel the order (or any part if it) prior to delivery and receive a refund (including the applicable delivery charges) in respect of the cancelled order.

Bed Bath & Beyond reserves the right to limit the quantities of certain items which you, your family or any group can purchase.

Product Descriptions

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, prices, photographic representations and descriptions of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the appearances, colours, textures or finishes of our products that appear on the website. What you see will depend on your monitor and computer equipment, we are therefore unable to guarantee that the product images are an accurate representation of the actual merchandise.

The products will comply, in all material respects, with their product descriptions appearing on this site at the time when you submit the order. If a product does not comply with its product description, you may return the product(s) and accept a refund or exchange the product(s) – for more information please see our Returns section.

The prices for the products listed on this site are in New Zealand dollars and include GST, but not any delivery charges. We endeavour to ensure that all prices listed on this site are consistent with the prices offered at our stores. Bed Bath & Beyond reserves the right to amend or rectify any errors in pricing or product specification within 24 hours of being notified of it or after an order has been processed.

Gift Vouchers

Bed Bath & Beyond Gift Vouchers are available to purchase in all our stores as well as online. To purchase a Gift Voucher on our website, choose the Gift Voucher amount that you wish to purchase then add it to your Shopping Bag. At this stage Bed Bath & Beyond Gift Vouchers can only be redeemed in store. Bed Bath & Beyond Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash.

Please note that we do not accept returns for Gift Vouchers.
